About

I make musical installations that gently tug at themes of memory, overwhelm and how we connect to our environment. I enjoy re-working and re-assembling complete works in fractured forms. I am always thinking about how listeners listen, and the physical experience of music.

I find inspiration from the natural and built worlds to compose and record from my home studio in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Having worked as a professional session musician and performing artist for nearly 30 years, I started composing in 2019. During Develop Your Creative Practice (ACE) funded explorations I created the digital piece ‘Museum of Musical Memory’ going on to receive a Sound & Music Seed Award to support the development of new work. The resulting installation, FOUR (a suite for strings, bells and pianos), was first performed during a residency at Falmouth University in Summer 2023.

Other installation works include Stone Winter Hymn (Flamm Festival, 2023); And You May Feel Yourself Slowly Drifting (2024); Sussurus (2025)

I was nominated for the Paul Hamlyn Award For Artists in 2023.
