Sessions

With 25 years of professional recording experience, I work with a huge range of artists and composers spanning all genres.  I am equally happy playing by ear, improvising or reading scored notes, and take great pride in playing with a style and tone that is sympathetic to your work.  

IN STUDIO 

Cello and vocal sessions are available at the studio of your choice, or I can recommend one. Prices start at £100 for one fully scored track and up to 1 hour at a studio in Cornwall.

REMOTE SESSIONS 

High quality .wav files recorded on professional mics and sent straight to your inbox!

I chat to you first on Zoom, with my 'cello in hand, so we can agree the kind of sound and style you'd like to hear, then I make up to 3 passes (recording takes) before sending the agreed final files. I record in an acoustically treated room on my iMac in Logic through a Focusrite Clarett interface with a matched pair of AKG414 Microphones.
